I went during the "off" season for my first time, and let me just say this place is awesome! The garden has so many amazing little trails you can walk through, that has little hidden art of all kinds everywhere. It was beautiful even now during the winter. I cannot wait to visit during the spring when all the plants are in bloom. It's tucked away in down town charlotte, and it was a great place to go stretch your legs and have a cup of coffee or tea in the little shop. They also sell local artist work. HUGE BONUS -- pet friendly, and they have pictures up in the little shop of their animal friend visitors. What a charming place to stumble upon!

If you are in or visiting Charlotte NC you absolutely MUST visit McGils rose garden!!! The inside is atmospheric with ambient lighting and outside is amazing, super lush and overall just stunning. Beautiful diversity of fauna and flowers and cute spots to sit throughout the garden. Wonderful and unique selection of wine and great coffee and on top of it all the staff is so welcoming and friendly. If you’re looking for a spot that checks all the vibe boxes run don’t walk

A lovely place to bring your own food/picnic and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We especially loved exploring and seeing all the beautiful plants and flowers along the paths and then sitting under the twinkly lights. Highly recommend! Oh and Rosie's coffee + wine is located right there for drinks

Rosie’s/McGill is one of my favorite places in Charlotte. The garden oasis is enough of a draw but Rosie’s wine bar is next level: kind staff who are highly knowledgeable about the excellent wine selection. It was a no-brainer to get married here but I never could have predicted how perfect it would be! From the day we toured until even now, a month after our wedding, Rosie’s has been so amazing to us. They are a well-oiled machine when it comes to weddings but still manage to treat each one like it’s the most important event that year! Dan and Kiara were so patient with my Type-A planning and helped me make all my wedding dreams a reality. On the day, I knew I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I stumbled upon this hidden gem while in Charlotte, just for the weekend. I must say; this is just what I needed. It’s so cute, welcoming, and cozy! The live plants on the wall as you enter will have you in awe as they dangle from the wall. The wine choices are phenomenal and the customer service was TOP TIER! From espressos - beer there is a little something for everyone! The exterior is even better! The weather was amazing when I went so I was able to enjoy the garden and snap some photos! I will definitely return when all the flowers are in bloom! I met Kiara while I was there and she was able to further give me more recommendations on places to eat and things to do! They also offer WiFi and charging stations !

Stumbled upon this hidden gem during a walk while visiting Charlotte and decided to go in. It was so pretty and I loved that they offered plenty of coffee and tea options along with their wine and beer selection. Wished they would've had more pastries, but came late in the day so it could be that. The garden has so many great places to sit and it smells lovely. The inside of the shop is cute too. I'd definitely visit again, it was unique and relaxing.

I had the best time here. It is a beautiful garden and the coffee was delicious. My girlfriend and I have very high standards when it comes to “vibes”, and this place exceeded those standards. There is no better place to have a cup of coffee or glass or wine in the city. It feels like a nice escape from the hustle and bustle.

I am a Charlotte wedding photographer and had the pleasure of working with the McGill Rose Garden for several events! The garden is the most intimate and unique space to host your wedding. From the flowers, greenery and string lights, the naturally decorated environment is hard to pass up. The ceremony and reception space is picture perfect ... literally :) Also, there are so many spots to take wedding party, family and couple portraits. Plus, the event team is amazing to work with!! McGill Rose Garden will always be a favorite!
